Co-Ed and Womens Volleyball

COED

• USA Volleyball rules apply.
• 3 men and 3 women are to be on the court from each team.
• If more than one contact is made on a side, one of the contacts must be made by a woman. (ex: man, man, woman is legal. Woman, woman man is legal. Man, woman, man is legal.)  Man, man is illegal.  A woman must make one of the contacts before the ball is sent over the net.
• You may not block or attack a serve.
• During play any physical contact with the net is a violation and a point is given to the other team.
• Rally scoring will be used.  That means that a point is earned for every serve just as in tennis.
• Per USAV rules a serve that touches the net and goes over is legal.
• Per USAV rules the first contact by a team may be a double hit.
• Games will go to 25 points.  You do not have to win by 2 points.
• You will be playing three 25 point games each round.

 WOMEN’S

•  All the above rules except for #2 and #3 apply to the women’s league.
